What is the Arkansas Catholic Men's Conference?
The Arkansas Catholic Men's Conference (ACMC) is the annual men's conference held in the Diocese of Little Rock. It was founded in 2011 and has featured speakers who impact men's lives with their passion for Christ and His Church. Speakers have included bishops, archbishops, and nationally and internationally known evangelists, authors, and TV & Radio talk show hosts. Each conference provides three to four presentations, Reconciliation, Adoration, breakfast, lunch, and time for men to visit and network. Who have been some of the speakers at ACMC?
The ACMC has been blessed with attracting speakers who are filled with the passion of Christ and the Catholic faith. Some of the past speakers have included: Archbishop J. Peter Sartain, Dr. Allen Hunt, Gus Lloyd, Monsignor Gaston Hebert, Abbot Jerome Kodell, Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers, and Monsignor Scott Friend to only name a few. Who attends ACMC?
First and foremost, ALL men are invited to attend the ACMC. No matter your faith or where you are in your walk with Christ you are invited. Men throughout Arkansas and neighboring states have attended past conferences. With Little Rock being centrally located it is convenient for all men to attend for the day. If accommodations are needed there are many hotels located within 10 minutes of Christ the King Catholic Church.
Where is the annual conference located?
Currently, the annual ACMC is held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Little Rock, AR. This church provides seating for 1,200 men with state of the art audio and visual equipment for the speakers to use as needed. The attached new CTK Family Life Center provides a generous area to hold registration, breakfast, lunch, and breaks. Also, the Adoration Chapel is available throughout the conference and is adjoined to the church and family life center.
When is the annual Arkansas Catholic Men's Conference?
The conference is always held the Saturday before Superbowl Sunday. Normally this is the 1st Saturday in February. In 2018, the conference will be held February 3rd.
